“People often ask me why I do this. Without going into too much detail here, my dad died at age 63 at a point when he was planning to start enjoying his retirement. It struck me that my parents both worked really hard to build a secure financial future but never really got to realise that dream. People either don’t save enough for their future or end up saving too much! I get a huge amount of pleasure when I am able to help people to see that they’ve actually got enough saved already, and that they can retire perhaps sooner than they thought, and can start living the dream before it’s too late!”
